Sam - Weekdays 6a - 10a

Sam is from Indiana, which is a great place to be from… far from.  With a thirst to discover what existed beyond the cornfields and Polish Sausage, he headed out West for his own Manifest Destiny.  Sam quickly found himself with a broken down car in Aspen that he’s been trying to get fixed since 1995.  He did the typical landscape-crew summers and snowboard-shop winters until he found himself in radio.  He likes that they don’t ask a lot of questions like “What really happened that night in Havana?” or “What’s your last name?”  Now he’s got a beautiful wife and a cool new son and hopes that car of his never gets fixed, so he doesn’t have to leave.

Rochelle - Weekdays 10a - 3p

Rochelle is a hidden jewel in Colorado…a native. After coming face to face with a mountain lion in the Yukon, swimming with dolphins in the Florida Gulf Coast and chasing turtles on the coast of Hawaii Rochelle realized that sometimes the best place to find adventure is in her own backyard. Besides rockin’ the airwaves on KSPN Rochelle manages the promotions department for KSPN…and Rochelle is an “Award Winning” News Reporter. In March of 2008 Rochelle and David Bach received first place from the Colorado Broadcasters Association for Best Regularly Scheduled Newscast and Rochelle received a certificate for Best News Feature on her report on the 2007 bear attacks in the Roaring Fork Valley. Outside of work Rochelle is a marathoner and a member of the American Red Cross National Disaster Reserves Response Team. This means her coffee cup is always full of caffeine and her running shoes are always ready to be laced up! Rock On!

Jamie Lynn - Mondays - 7p - 11p

Jamie Lynn hails from Southern California, with a brief teenaged stint amongst the cow paddies and rice fields of Davis, California. Raised on Casey Casum and Dr. Demento, she always enjoyed a good music countdown and off-color banter. While attending UCLA, she happened upon night personality Jim Ladd on KLSX, LA’s kickin’ classic rock station, and decided that playing great music and chatting about anything on her mind might just be the answer to her existential woes.

She got her official on-air start on Steamboat Spring’s KFMU, and came to Aspen in ‘96 to take over the airwaves - in a non-hostile manner, of course. She keeps current by heading to festivals all over the country – New Orleans Jazz and Heritage, Telluride Blues and Brews, and Austin City Limits – all in the name of work and career advancement, to be sure. Rock-climbing, skiing and serial reading keep her well-balanced, and kind of tan.

Jake - Weekdays 3p-7p

Jake has been a Radio guy for many years and loves playing music for the Roaring Fork Valley every afternoon on KSPN from 3-7 PM. If you would like to contact Jake click here.

Jill Merriam - Saturday 11a - 3p, Sunday Noon - 3p

My Name is Jill I got mad skills... Also I am originally from Michigan, I moved here the end of May 2007. I love Aspen/KSPN and all the great people I have meet out here! I am pretty active, love sports and trying new things. I plan on being here for a wicked long time so if you see me say hi!!!

Danny - Saturday, 6a - 11a | Sunday, 6a - 9a

Danny is another Popish here in Aspen who loves his home town. Aside form skiing and more skiing, Danny prepares for skiing in the off season. Even though he's biased to calling Aspen/Snowmass "The best place to ski", scholarly research has found that it is! Having just settled down with his beautiful wife Sarah, the Popishes plan to take it easy as they ski, snowboard, dirt bike, surf and travel the world. He would like to give a shout-out to his 4 awesome parents and wishes his brother Kyle well as he continues his mission work.

Acoustic Cafe´ - Sunday, 10a - Noon

Since 1994, Acoustic Café has been radio's best international showcase for new and classic acoustic music. Each week, we air two hours of exceptional songs from some of the best singer-songwriters in the business, plus live in-studio interviews and performances. Each of the guest sessions are recorded exclusively for Acoustic Café at our studios in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where Acoustic Café is based.
